WWCA STARTS 2012 FEELING POSITIVE ABOUT 2011

A new year begins for the WWCA under current president Dan Lambert.  The WWCA has accomplished a great deal in the short time since its inception.  Westmount now has Bixi, winter cycling has been aided by the path being kept open throughout Westmount, Jan Gehl (well known Danish urban planner) came to the city to meet the mayor and council, safety concerns for pedestrians and cyclists have been addressed by the city, a good relationship has been established with the NDG walking and cycling association,  Dan Lambert and Roger Jochym have been very active giving input to the Master Traffic Plan about to be introduced in Westmount and they have been very active in trying to improve active transport at the MUHC.

CYCLISTS STILL RIDING IN WINTER

Even in the cold and snow, people are still out on their bicycles
